RIP: Limerick deaths and funeral details, Thursday, July 10

The death has occurred of Valerie Nugent (née Wilson), 24 Kilbane, Castletroy, Limerick and formerly of Liverpool and late of the International Women’s Organisation (IWO) on July 10, suddenly, at home.

Beloved wife of Tom (ex Aer Lingus). 

Valerie will be deeply missed by her husband Tom, sisters Diana and Heather, brother Ian, nephews Michael, Craig and Alex, niece Laura, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at home in Kilbane, Castletroy (V94FY2E), on Monday, July 14, from 5.30pm to 7pm. 

Funeral will arrive on Tuesday, July 15, at St Mary Magdalene Church, Monaleen, for Requiem Mass at 12pm, followed by Service in Shannon Crematorium at 2pm.

The death has occurred of Marie Lynch (née Ray) Cosgrave Park, Moyross, Limerick city, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, on July 8, in the presence of her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Edward.

Marie will be sadly missed by her loving family, children Annemarie, Lorraine, Orla, Jennifer and Elva, grandchildren Megan, Jay and Rian, great-granddaughters Harper and Hallie, son-in-law Fergus, sisters Irene, Josephine and Geraldine, brothers Martin and Timmy, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Sunday, July 13 from 2.30pm to 4pm, followed by removal to St Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street.

Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, July 14 at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Mount Saint Oliver Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Gerry Lane, Cedarview, Brothers of Charity, Bawnmore, Limerick and formerly of West Singland Road, Garryowen, Limerick on July 9, peacefully, at home in Cedarview.

Predeceased by parents Anne and Edward.

Very deeply regretted by sister Marion, brothers Davie and Edward, brother-in-law Sean Storan, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews. Gerry will be forever missed by his friends, nurses, carers and all at the Brothers of Charity.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, July 12, at 11am in Our Lady of Limerick Church, Bawnmore, V94HT62. Followed by burial in Mount St Lawrence Cemetery (extension) Cemetery.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy and sons Patrick and Edward.

Reposing at Riedy's Funeral Home, Newcastle West, on Saturday, July 12, from 6pm, with removal at 8pm to St Mary's Church, Clouncagh.

Requiem Mass will be held on Sunday, July 13 at 1:30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Reposing at Whites Funeral Home Doon (V94 D450) Saturday evening, July 12 from 6pm with removal at 8pm to St Patrick’s Church Doon. Requiem Mass Sunday, July 13 at 11am with burial afterwards in Doon cemetery.

Beloved husband of the late Marie.
