The death has occurred of Eddie (Edmond) Gleeson, Main Street, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick, June 28th 2025 very peacefully at St John's Hospital Limerick, in his 97th year surrounded by his loving family.
Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Christina (nee Hanrahan), devoted daughters Orla and Cora, son Brian, son in law Liam, brother Paddy, sisters Elsie and Mary, loving grandchildren Aoife, Gillian, Darren, Lorna, Aisling, Ciara and Kieran (the favourite), great grandchildren Clara, Oisín and Eloise, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, very kind neighbours and a large circle of good friends.

Reposing this Monday evening, 30th, from 6pm, at J McCarthy & Sons Funeral Home, Kilfinane, followed by evening prayers at 8pm. Removal to arrive Tuesday for 12noon Requiem Mass at St Andrew's Church, Kilfinane followed by burial afterwards to the local cemetery.

The death has occurred of Elizabeth Guiney (née Donovan), Allaghaun View, Tournafulla, Co. Limerick and formerly of Glenastar, Ardagh, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at St. Catherine’s Nursing Home, Newcastle West, on Saturday, 28th June 2025, with her family by her side.
Predeceased by her infant daughter Debbie, Elizabeth is very sadly missed by her loving husband Patrick, sons George, Paddy, Michael and Timmy, daughters Mary and Doreen, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Veronica and Nora, grandchildren Becky, Eileen, Maisy, Avril and Mia, brother Paddy, sister Ellen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, all her other relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St. Patrick’s Church Tournafulla on Monday, 30th June from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Requiem Mass for Elizabeth will be celebrated on Tuesday, 1st July at 11.00 a.m. followed by interment in the adjoining St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
