Former Bishop of Limerick Donal Murray (centre) passed away on Sunday
FUNERAL arrangements have been announced for the former Bishop of Limerick Donal Murray, who passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning in the exceptional care of Milford Care Centre.
Bishop Murray's remains will lay in repose in St John’s Cathedral, Limerick city on Wednesday, October 16 from 3pm with evening prayer at 7.30pm, pausing for evening Mass at 5.45pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, October 17 at noon, followed by burial in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery. The Mass will be streamed live here

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Maureen, sister Aileen and brother Paddy.
Dearly loved and sadly missed by his sister Una, brothers Diarmuid and John, sisters-in-law Rosa, Ann and Connie, his nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, Bishop Brendan Leahy and the clergy, religious and lay faithful of the Diocese of Limerick and the Archdiocese of Dublin.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, are asked to go to Trócaire which is the Irish Bishops International Aid Agency.
