The death has occurred of Michael Davern of Kilfrush, Knocklong, Limerick.

Michael passed away, peacefully, at Nenagh Hospital, on October 9, 2024.

Very deeply regretted by his wife Mary, son Nicholas, daughter Claire, daughter in law Jen, son in law Owen, grandchildren Sadie, Noah, Finn, brothers and sisters Pat, Charlie, Canon Bill, Declan, Fonny, Tom, Tony, Helen and Mary, extended family relatives and friends.

Michael will be reposing at St Joseph's church Knocklong from 5pm until 7pm this Friday, October 11.

Requiem mass on Saturday, October 12 at 11.30am followed by private cremation afterwards.

Family flowers only please, donations to a charity of your choice.

The death has occurred of Martin Finnerty of 'Sancta Maria' Ludden, Ballyneety, Co. Limerick. Ex CIE.

Passed away, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family, on On October 10, 2024.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, son Vincent, daughter Judy, daughter-in-law Lorraine Moran, beloved grandchildren Christina and Eva, sisters Sr Vincent, Gemma Wardale and Clara McDonagh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Predeceased by his sisters Anne McLoughlin and Frances Raimondo.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Ballyneety, on Saturday, October 12, from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Funeral will arrive on Sunday, October 13, for Requiem Mass at 12pm, in the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Bohermore, steamed live (link to follow) funeral afterwards to Inch St Lawrence Cemetery, Caherconlish.

No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Parkinson’s Association here

The death has occurred of Catherine (Kate) O'Connor (née Hogan) of Rockwood, North Circular Road, Limerick and formerly of 26 St Joseph’s Drive, Montenotte, Cork.

Passed away, peacefully, at Adare and District Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family, on October 10, 2024.

Predeceased by her husband Pat, her son Colum, her brothers Colm and Brendan, sisters Phil, Anne and Mary.

Deeply missed by her daughters Trish and Jane (Frawley), son Noel, sister Eleanor, her adored grandchildren Sarah, Orla and Pat, son-in-law Brian, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Sunday, October 13 from 4.30pm to 6pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Rosary Church on Monday, October 14 for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Mount St Lawrence Cemetery (Extension).

The death has occurred of John Pierce of Coolaleen, Broadford, Co. Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family, on October 10, 2024.

Predeceased by his two infant babies. Sadly missed by his loving wife Helen, sons Mike, John, Richard and Ray, daughters Mairéad Sexton, Mary Noonan and Barbara Power, sons-in-law Eamonn, Eddie and Derek, daughters-in-law Helen, Joan, Kathleen and Sadhanna, grandchildren Jack, Rachel, Ella, Michael, Alan, Laura, Claire, Georgina, Anthony, Stephen and Jessica, step-grandchildren Letitia and Talissa, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Sextons Funeral Home, Broadford on Saturday, October 12 from 6pm to 8pm. Arriving at the Church of Our Lady of the Snows, Broadford on Sunday, October 13 for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm, which will be live-streamed (link to follow). Burial afterwards in Springfield Cemetery.
