Gardaí issue appeal after burglary of Limerick business overnight
LOCAL gardai are appealing for information following the burglary of a business in a South County Limerick village.
Sergeant Natasha Walsh, Henry Street Garda Station stated:
"We’re asking the community to stay alert following a burglary at Buckley’s Grocery Shop, Main Street, Ballylanders, Co. Limerick. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, November 15th about 1.50am."
"Three intruders are believed to have been involved, they smashed the glass door using a hammer and entered the premises," Sgt Walsh continued.

"The suspects targeted the cigarette cabinet, but they were disturbed by the alarm and the shop owners. No items were stolen and the intruders fled the scene in a dark-coloured car with a roof rack. The intruders were described as three males of slight build wearing black clothing."
Sgt Walsh concluded: "If you witnessed anything suspicious or have CCTV footage from the area, please contact your local Garda station, or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111. Remember your vigilance helps keep our communities safe."
