Double whammy burglaries of house and car investigated by Limerick gardaí

A THIEF who broke into a car and subsequently burgled the car owner's house is being investigated by gardaí in Limerick.

Gardaí are investigating a double whammy of crimes, which saw a thief break into a blue Peugeot 208 parked in Wolfe Tone St on Thursday, October 10 between 3:30am and 8:30am.

“The thief managed to identify the house which the car owner lived in and used the keys they stole to break into the house. They stole two iPhones and a black handbag,” said garda John Finnerty of Henry St garda station. 

Gardaí in Roxboro are now investigating both incidents which are linked. They can be contacted on 061 214340.
