THREE men will appear before Limerick District Court this Thursday morning in relation to an ongoing operation targeting criminal activity in the city.
Gardaí arrested and charged three men yesterday, Wednesday, May 15, after an operation in the Hyde Road area.
"The men, aged in their late teens and 20s, will appear before Limerick District Court this morning," said a garda spokesperson.
There was a large garda presence, including the armed support unit, on the Hyde Park at around 2.15pm on Wednesday afternoon.

A number of videos of the operation have been shared on social media, showing a large number of onlookers who had gathered in the area during the garda operation.
The garda spokesperson confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
