Limerick Central Rotary Club Remembrance Tree in Jetland Shopping Centre 2023
LIMERICK CENTRAL Rotary Club will launch its annual Remembrance Tree at Castletroy Town Centre this December, offering the public an opportunity to honour loved ones while supporting a vital children’s charity.
The initiative is taking place across two weekends, from December 12 - 14 and December 19 - 21.
The club will once again partner with Castletroy Town Centre and the Rotary’s chosen charity, Cancer Fund for Children.

All proceeds raised from the Remembrance Tree will go directly to supporting the organisation’s work with children, young people, and families impacted by cancer.
This year’s Remembrance Tree will be officially launched on Friday, December 12, and the area will feature a lively festive atmosphere, including performances by the Unity Gospel Choir and additional musical entertainment.
Denise Brazil, President of Limerick Central Rotary Club, said: “The Remembrance Tree will provide a public focal point for people to remember a loved one who has passed on, is unable to be home for Christmas or someone they would just like to remember, while also raising funds for a wonderful charity
Lisa Kearney, Shopping Centre Manager with the Castletroy Town Centre, said: “The Remembrance Tree is an important part of the Christmas period, and we are very excited to have a tree here in Castletroy this December. We are looking forward to working with Limerick Central Rotary Club on this project and hope all our shoppers will put a ribbon on the Remembrance Tree”.
Those who wish to support the fundraiser but cannot attend in person can also make a donation online via the Limerick Central Rotary Club website.
