LIMERICK City and County Council is inviting applications for funding under the Economic and Social Intervention Fund (ESIF) to help address disadvantage in Limerick city.
The overall vision of the Limerick Regeneration Programme is to create “safe and sustainable communities of opportunity where people of all ages enjoy a good quality of life, a decent home and a sense of pride about their place.”
Declan White, Acting Director of Service, Regeneration, Sports and Recreation at Limerick Council explained: “ESIF funding has made a significant impact on the lives of people living in Limerick’s regeneration areas since its inception, and we’re looking forward to continuing this funding support in 2025.”
Applications are sought under the themes community, education and learning, employability and work, families and youth at risk, and health, wellbeing and ageing well.

All applicants must complete the online application form on limerick.ie. The closing date for the submission of applications is October 8 at 12pm.
