THE ANNUAL St Patrick’s Day Run is set to return to one Limerick town this March 17.
Croom Community Development Association (CCDA) have confirmed the details of the annual 10km run in Croom, which once again will be sponsored by Croom Medical, who recently celebrated their 40 year anniversary.
Patricia Ryan, CCDA CEO said: “We are delighted to have Croom Medical as our main sponsor again in 2025, it is such a great endorsement to have this multi-award-winning company be the sponsor of a community event.
“Croom Medical achieve excellence in their field and CCDA are very proud to have this great employer in Croom.”
In 2024, the event saw runners from across north Munster dominated the field but the winner travelled from Wexford.
There is also a second 5km fun run on the day.

“Both events are early morning, so lots of opportunities to attend your local parade after your run around Croom,” Patricia continued.
“We hope people will be able to stay for a cup of tea after the race to decompress.”
Booking is essential and can be done on www.cromadh.com.
Ronan Donovan of Croom Medical said: “Last year, CCDA and their team delivered an excellent St Patrick’s Day run.
“This initiative aligns with Croom Medical’s mission to support our community and we’re excited to be part of it again this year.”
