THIS WEEKEND, there will be a sleep-out taking place in the city centre highlighting the plight of homelessness.
Novas will host its flagship annual fundraiser between 7pm on Saturday night, December 7 and 7am Sunday, December 8.
With more people than ever experiencing homelessness and seeking support, Novas is calling on people to get involved and give generously.

Participants of the sleepout have sought sponsorship from family, friends and work colleagues, however everyone can get involved and make a difference, by making a donation.
The charity’s head of fundraising Jackie Leonard said people can give generously to people while they are taking part in the sleep-out, with volunteers doing a street collection.
Alternatively, it’s possible to donate online by visiting www.novas.ie, or by calling 061-370325.
“The more money we raise the more vulnerable households in our local communities we can support," she said.
