The Fashionfest show will be a game-changer - My week with Celia Holman Lee

THE HOLMAN Lee modelling agency is delighted to be collaborating with Riverfest for our third annual catwalk.

The show will feature designers from Limerick School of Art and Design, twenty models from the Holman Lee agency, and fashion creators all the way from Austin Community College in Texas.

There was a fantastic fanfare at the Savoy Hotel for the soft launch of Fashionfest last Thursday.

In attendance at our intimate soirée was Mayor John Moran, as well as a selection of Limerick's influencers, fashion creators, designers and makers.

As always, my partner in crime, Asta Lee was full hands on deck to make sure that everything ran smoothly, and that everyone at the soft launch had a fantastic time.

While the soft launch may have been small - it was mighty, and we simply had a ball of a time.

We have been hugely lucky in having the support of Mayor Moran for Fashionfest.

Before the mayor was even elected, he showed great support for our idea, and has given his backing all the way.

I myself am hugely looking forward to helping prepare the looks and models backstage for Fashionfest on May 1, Friday at 6pm.

There is nothing that beats the hive of activity, adrenaline and camaraderie that goes on behind the scenes of a fashion show.

The extravaganza will be hosted in the iconic Gardens International building on Henry Street in the city, and will include a drinks reception.
