IT IS fair to say that the weekend that has passed was one to remember and not for good reason!
Storm Éowyn left a major dent in our memory following the destruction that it left in its wake.
While I was lucky enough to have not lost power, some of the beautiful trees in my garden and in neighbouring gardens fell.
I am around for 74 years and I have never in all my life heard such ferocious winds. What a nightmare!
My son Ivan and daughter-in-law Asta who is my right-hand woman in the Holman Lee Agency, as well as their three beautiful grandchildren, lost all of their essential resources at their home, as did my daughter Cecile and her beautiful family.
I sat at home worried sick but, thankfully, they got it back quickly.

However, all is looking bright as we head into February and officially the start of Spring.
I hope the weather picks up to reflect the seasonal change - it will be uplifting to see some flowers bloom and brighter evenings ahead.
I hope everyone has a wonderful bank holiday weekend and I look forward to sharing fashion tips this 2025.
