My week with Celia Holman Lee: Bridal exhibition a shining success

AND WITH that, another year of the Mid-West Bridal Exhibition comes and goes!

I am overjoyed to say that our annual wedding extravaganza went down an absolute treat with all the brides and grooms-to-be as well as their friends and families of all age groups.

I would like to take this opportunity to warmly and sincerely thank all vendors who took part in this year's event - they make it a success each year and, frankly, we wouldn’t have the exhibition without their participation, so thank you for all of your support and diligence.

Crowds came in their droves to the home of Munster rugby in the heart of Limerick city and, once again, the magnificent Thomond Park was considered a magical spot for the exhibition.

We had over 100 businesses participate, including the hospitality, beauty, photography, confectionary and floristry sectors - all the things couples need to make their wonderful white wedding picture perfect!

Our big fashion show in the middle of the day was the showstopper that really captured the crowd's attention wholeheartedly.

By the smiles on people’s faces, they were clearly enamoured by the fashion on display.

Every wedding guest was covered and we showcased styles for mothers of the bride, groom, bridesmaids and of course, the married couple-to-be!

Spectators flocked to see the glamour we had on offer and to get inspiration for the day they, or their loved ones, say ‘I do’.
