My week with Celia Holman Lee: Festive buzz on and off-screen

My week with Celia Holman Lee: Festive buzz on and off-screen

I HAVE been flying around to get some last-minute Christmas shopping and took a (short!) break to feature on the RTÉ Today Show.

Of course, this time of year isn’t just about ticking items off shopping lists, it’s also about celebrating the magic of the season in style.

I had an exciting break from the busy streets to descend on the RTÉ studios in Cork, with Holman Lee Agency models Ava, Emily and Aideen.

We showcased some of my favourite festive looks, featuring a mix of stunning pieces from local designers and high-street gems. Among the designers were Linda Wilson knitwear, Original Ireland, Ber McNamara, Caroline Mitchell, Aoife McNamara and Marion Murphy Cooney.

My models shone like stars in party dresses, satin suits, and elegant knitwear, that screamed understated glam.

It’s always a thrill to watch a concept come to life under the bright studio lights.

Nothing beats the buzz of being on television!

The segment was about more than clothes, though - it’s also a platform to spotlight the incredible talent we have here in Ireland. Seeing these brands come alive on screen reminded me why I love what I do.

Fashion isn’t just about trends, it’s about telling stories through seasonal styles and adding your own twist to what you wear.

It was back to reality after the cameras stopped rolling and I returned to Limerick to spend my mornings darting between fabulous city boutiques such as White Feather Boutique and Ivory Lane, and department stores like Brown Thomas, sourcing those last-minute gifts for my loved ones.

While December might be my busiest month, it’s also when I’m most reminded of how rewarding this career can be and how I am hugely grateful for those around me.
