FORMER rugby internationals and hosts of the hugely popular podcast, The Rugby Pod, Jim Hamilton and Andy Goode, were special guests at an highly successful fundraising event for Young Munster RFC held at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

Both Hamilton and Goode are known for their strong opinions on the game of rugby as well as their entertaining personalities, and engaging content, transitioning from successful playing careers.

Hamilton was capped as a lock forward for Scotland, while Goode played at fly-half for England. Both have made smooth transitions into media personalities and event hosts, sharing rugby insights and stories.

Munster Rugby head coach Clayon McMillan was also among the special guests on the evening where he addressed the large attendance.

Former Ireland hooker Bernard Jackman, who has also enjoyed a successful career as a coach and TV and radio pundit, chaired the discussion at the fundraiser.

A number of presentations were made on the evening, including one to Young Munster RFC prop Conor Bartley who recently made his URC and Investec Champions Cup debuts for Munster Rugby.

Photographer Kieran Ryan-Benson covered all the excitement and colour from the evening.
