Limerick's Fiona Hayes has returned to a coaching role at UL Bohs.
UL BOHEMIAN RFC have announced that former player and coach Fiona Hayes is back as head coach of the club's women's side for next season.
The former Irish international returns to the Red Robins after a two-year stint as head coach of Ballincollig's women's side and revealed on Twitter that she is delighted to be returning to the club.
Hayes had a stellar playing career with both Munster and Ireland. She was a member of the Six Nations title winning squads in 2013 and 2015. Hayes also played in the 2014 World Cup.
Playing as a prop forward, Hayes was part of the AIL winning Bohs side that gained national honours in 2017 and 2018. She then went on to coach the Red Robins.
Since retiring as a player, Hayes has also dipped her feet into the media world. She is currently an analyst on Newstalk's Off the Ball programme on a weekly basis.
