Munster's Junior squad has been announced for the upcoming Interprovincial series.
THERE ARE eight Limerick representatives named in the Munster Junior squad that will play in the upcoming IRFU Interprovincial Series.
Munster are current champions of the competition and head coach Geoff Kenny will be looking to lead the team to successive titles. He is joined in the coaching team by Robbie Doyle, Mike Calnan, James Neville and Christy McNamara. Tony Daly is team manager.
Newcastle West RFC player Shane Airey has been named vice-captain of the squad, with Noel Roche of Waterpark RFC given the honour of captaining the Munster team.
Fellow Newcastle West players Rob Guerin, TJ Relihan, as well as Thomond RFC's Colin Slater, Jordan O'Donnell and Ryain Ahern are also part of the Munster squad.
St Mary's duo Ruairí O'Donnell and Stephen Hyland complete the Limerick representation on the Munster Junior squad.
Munster begin their campaign with a trip to Tuam to take on Connacht this Saturday, April 29 at 2.30pm. That is followed by a trip to Inishowen and a game against Ulster a week later.
Munster complete their series of games with a home game in Waterford City RFC on Saturday, May 13. That also has a 2.30pm start.
