My Week with Celia Holman Lee: Style shines on O'Connell Street!

We were joined at our Twilight Thursday fashion show by Mayor John Moran, alongside myself and Aideen Howard PHOTO | Kieran Ryan Benson

LIMERICK sparkled with style on Twilight Thursday as the Holman Lee Agency hosted an unforgettable autumn/winter fashion showcase.

Originally, the fashion show was set to take place on Thomas Street. But when the weather had other plans, I reached out to the ever-gracious Liam Dwan, General Manager of Brown Thomas Limerick.

Liam generously offered the space in front of their O’Connell Street entrance and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The canopy provided elegant cover, allowing the show to go on in style, come rain or shine.

Big Boss Production truly set the scene, delivering a red carpet and guard railings that were both classy and beautifully executed, adding a touch of high-end theatre to the evening.

The Holman Lee Agency models opened the show by presenting Brown Thomas’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection with poise and polish.

The show proudly featured two talented Limerick designers, Original Ireland and Linda Wilson, whose pieces reflected the elegance and edge of the season ahead. Think neutral beiges, rich wines, and deep forest greens, early autumn’s must-have tones!

This marked a milestone for the Holman Lee Agency: never before had we staged a show on O’Connell Street. We've previously graced Thomas Street, Catherine Street, and Roches Street, but this new location brought something extra special.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the wonderful people of Limerick. To those who stood in the rain with umbrellas, and to the passers-by who honked and waved from their cars - it all was appreciated!

It truly felt like the whole city joined in the celebration.
