My Week with Celia Holman Lee: Feeling like a VIP at style awards

I AM SO grateful to be nominated once again for Most Stylish Woman in the upcoming Platinum VIP 2024 Style Awards.

What a true honour it is to be a part of this superb annual awards ceremony, celebrating all things fashion and style.

Taking place in the Intercontinental Hotel, Dublin on Friday, April 26, I got the opportunity to attend the launch in the bustling capital city, and what a joy it was.

Twenty-one years ago marked the inaugural VIP Style Awards and, that very first year, I won Most Stylish Woman - who would have thought I would, once again, be nominated in the same category at 73-years-old?

That very first year was magical and as a stylist, a dream come true. I was awarded alongside Westlife’s Nicky Byrne that year, who won Best Dressed Man!

As well as this, the most fabulous showbiz event of the year - the VIP Style Awards- is returning to its home and where it all began in the five-star Intercontinental Hotel. How wonderfully nostalgic!

I am not the only Limerick woman among the nominees this year - I am overjoyed to be joined as a nominee by the beautifully-stylish radio presenter and Gaeilgeoir, Louise Cantillon, as well as the hugely-talented Adare-based fashion designer, Aoife McNamara.

Fingers crossed us Limerick women come out on top through the course of the highly-anticipated evening.

I cannot wait to get together with some fellow fashionistas on the night and mark the evening of elegance, together with legends of the industry who I so truly adore.
