LIMERICK are bidding to make it two wins from two when they welcome Clare to TUS on Thursday in the All-Ireland U23 Camogie 'B' Championship.
Goals from Ella Hession and Donna Kenny saw the 'Treaty' open their campaign with a 2-10 to 0-11 win over Antrim.
With four teams out of five progressing to the semi-final, Limerick all but assured a place in the knockout stages already.
But with a lot of the senior panel involved with this team, they will be looking to keep the momentum going
The U23s train with the senior side with David Deady overseeing both squads.
Senior star Orlaith Kelleher says this has been to the benefit of the whole group.
“It’s exciting to see the amount of girls we have available to play U23,” Kelleher said.
“It’s difficult for management to manage the load for those players because we have 14 players (in the senior squad) over-age, everyone else is 23s so they have a class squad there at the moment.
“I think it will be difficult to manage their loads but there’s a very strong U23. It’s something that us as a panel hope to achieve a bit of silverware with.
“I think it’s time for a bit of success with Limerick camogie and wins like an U23 Championship would be huge for the county.”
