Xeinadin unveils massive jobs boost for Ireland and Britain

ACCOUNTANCY services firm Xeinadin, which has offices in Limerick, is planning to recruit 70 new graduates.

The company, based at O’Connell Street in the city centre, says it’s an increase of 40% on last year’s graduate intake.

This comes, it says, as emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI) change working and hiring practices across the financial sector.

The 70 jobs will be spread across Xeinadin’s network of 33 offices across Ireland.

Managing partner for Xeinadin in Ireland, Sandra Clarke said: “AI and other emerging technologies are becoming increasingly important tools within accountancy and will continue to create efficiencies in how we work. However, we do not see that replacing our need for graduates.”

This, she said, is because the company’s work with small firms is relationship-driven.

"Clients want access to people; they want to meet and hear from people. The importance of building those close relationships won’t go away anytime soon. We want to be at the forefront of developing those people skills and inspiring the next generation of business advisors in Ireland,” she added.

Graduates who join Xeinadin can undertake accountancy qualifications.

Ms Clarke said: “Our graduate programme is an important part of how we develop our people and build our expertise for the future. We are delighted to be in a position to increase our graduate intake this year, offering them broad experience across different clients, sectors and areas of accountancy and business advisory, as well as the opportunity to work directly with senior colleagues from an early stage in their careers.”

"We are also a significant regional employer, meaning graduates do not have to move to urban areas to access the opportunities of a national accountancy firm. Through our regional offices and centralised specialist teams, they can build their careers closer to home while gaining experience with clients from across Ireland,” the managing partner for Ireland concluded.

Last December, Xeinadin was named as eighth largest accountancy practice in Ireland, and 16th biggest in Britain.
