Carlow businesswoman Joanne Browne has opened in a unit at Crescent Shopping Centre
A NEW pop-up beauty care outlet has opened at Crescent Shopping Centre.
Eight temporary jobs have been created following the move by Carlow businesswoman Joanne Browne to open in Dooradoyle.
She is the founder and creator of Jo Browne Ireland, which offers luxury natural products for people and the home.
Operating since 2016, Joanne opened her business after she brought to market her first product, a natural solid perfume.

“Our ethos is to develop premium products in a natural, sustainable way,” she says.
The boutique has opened at the former Gym and Coffee unit in the shopping centre.
As well as solid perfumes, Joanne also sells facial cleansing balm and luxury bamboo bedding.
“All of my products are in bamboo packing. We use ingredients from the bamboo tree. Everything is hand-made and hand poured in Co Carlow,” Joanne explained.
Prior to setting up in Limerick, she had a pop-up store in Kildare Village.
Seeing how busy the Crescent Shopping Centre was during Christmas, she felt it was the perfect opportunity for her company.
The eight staff she has employed, Joanne has said, are all from within a 10 minute drive of the Crescent Shopping Centre.
The pop-up shop will be based at the Crescent Shopping Centre for the next seven weeks.
