Geila Ibram, 27, died follow an incident at Dock Road, Limerick on Tuesday
A 26 YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murder of a woman in Limerick city earlier this week.
Geila Ibram, who was originally from Romania, died following an incident at an apartment at Dock Road on Tuesday afternoon - sparking a major garda investigation.
A formal identification of the 27-year-old's body was carried out by family members on Good Friday at the morgue in University Hospital Limerick.
A suspect was arrested in Belfast on Thursday and the Police Service of Northern Ireland has confirmed he has been since been charged and will appear in court this Saturday.

Investigating gardaí in Limerick say they have completed technical examinations at two separate scenes and that they are continuing to liaise with their colleagues in the PSNI.
They are continuing to appeal to any person who has information that can assist with the investigation to contact them at Henry Street garda station on (061) 212 400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
