Positive weekend for Limerick sides in Domino's Super League and Division One action

ALL four Limerick sides were in Domino's Super League and Division One action last weekend.

In the Domino's Men's Super League, the Limerick Celtics fell to a 107-85 loss to high-flying Griffith College Éanna from Dublin, a result that leaves the Celtics on nine points in tenth position. 

Tony Hehir's will be looking to bounce back this weekend when they take the short trip to Kerry to face Flexachem KCYMS in the Killorglin Sports Complex, tip-off on Saturday is at 7.15pm.

In Domino's Women's Division One action, the Limerick Celtics got back to winning ways with an impressive 25-point win over Abbey Seals Dublin Lions at Cóláiste Bríde.

Jordan Hehir's side ran out 69-44 winners on the day, a result that leaves his side third on 15 points.

Next up for the Celtics is a home tie with Clunetech Kilkenny Stars on Saturday, tip-off is at 1pm.

The Limerick Sport Eagles continued their fine form in Domino's Men's Division One with a win over Ulster University at UUJ.

Niall McDermott's side ran out 99-75 winners last weekend, a result that leaves his side joint second in a very congested Division One table, three points adrift of Maree in top spot.

Next up for the Eagles is a is a home tie on Saturday night when they welcome the Killarney Cougars to the UL Arena, tip-off is at 7pm.

The Limerick Sport Huskies also continued their rich vein of form when Patrick O'Regan's side defeated Swords Thunder in the capital on a scoreline of 72-61.

The Huskies sit at the top of the Division One table and will look to stay there when they welcome the Abbey Seal Dublin Lions to the LETT'S on Saturday at 1pm.
