All four Limerick teams were on the receiving end of defeats last weekend and were looking to get back on track in the most recent round of fixtures.

The Limerick Celtics Men's side suffered back-to-back defeats against Belfast Star in Da La Salle College.

A Limerick Celtics side led by the duo of Abdul Wurie and A.J. Williams started the game well.

They hammered home their impressive first half performance by going in at half-time up by 14 points, but as the third wore on and as we entered the final ten minutes of the game, Star quietly chewed away at the Celtics lead.

Star would eventually be rewarded with a lead with eight minutes left and once Star went in front, there was no going back.
