Training Tip
Winter is a great time to add in some strength work to your running. Generally we have less racing and are pushed for daylight so it’s easier to retreat to the gym. Roping a friend into a focused fitness class such as HYROX/HIIT is a great way to improve full body strength while maintaining fitness and benefiting from new movements. Give it a go and you’ll notice the difference come summer racing – Dr Carolyn Hayes
