Boston Marathon
JOHN Kinsella has been selected to represent Ireland at the Senior Inter Celtic Trail race in Brittany, France on June 10. He also completed his third Boston Marathon in a time of 2:26 for second M45, well done John!

Run the Banner Series -Clonlara 10K
CLONLARA, was the venue for the climax of this series in Clonlara. Dooneen’s Clare Coleman was fourth Woman in a time of 41:40. Not far behind was clubmate Ann McPhail in 43:09, also Karen Raine 49:13 and John Shier in 50:25. Iosla Breathnach 59:36, Ger Meehan 59:52. Well done all.
Ballybunion Half Marathon:
Well done to Kevin Kelly, of West Limerick AC, who was 11th overall in a time of 1.34.03. Other times included Christina Harnett 1.46.27, Kevin O'Donoghue 1.46.26, Ian Kelly (Pacer) 1.47.43, Tara Carr 2.02.55 and Nora Keogh 2.10.01.
Ide Nic Dhomhnaill was second woman overall in a time of 15:58. Carmel MacDomhnaill finished in 26:02.
There were also some strong performances by An Bru A.C.'s Niall Shanahan 15:12 and Niall O'Riordan 16:29.
Cian Aherne (16:42) and Maria Maher (21:29) were first finishers at Limerick Parkrun respectively.
Streets of Killarney 5 Mile: Quite a few Limerick athletes made their way to 'the Kingdom'. Best amongst them was Karl Lenihan 11th in 27:27. Conor Lenihan, of Limerick AC, was 20th in 28:58 with Dooneen’s Shane Ryan 24th in 29:12,
Kilmallock AC
KILMALLOCK AC wish to say thanks to the Supervalu staff and management, their volunteers and everyone who donated during their recent bag pack. They are delighted with the amount of money raised, proving again the generosity of the people of Kilmallok.

THE North Munster Schools T&F take place in Castleisland Co. Kerry on May 6 and 8.
The Limerick County Track and Field Championship has been confirmed for weekend of 11th and 12th
of May in Newcastle West. It will this year feature a Senior and Masters category.
Darragh Minogue, Darragh Lynn, Hannah McInerney, Iseult Ni hAnnaidh, Saoirse Eades, Faye Cusack, Ruadhan O hAnnaidh, Sean Minogue, Tommy Hayes, & Fionn O Connor – all Dooneen are amongst the athletes to have qualified for the Community Games National Finals in Gormanstown on May 25.
