LIMERICK'S Sarah Lavin is one step closer to claiming at medal at the Paris Olympics after gaining a direct spot in the semi-finals of the women's 100m hurdles.
The Emerald AC athlete claimed second place in her heat on Wednesday morning running a 12.73 time to book her place in tomorrow's semi's.
The semi-finals of the event take place tomorrow, Friday at 11:05am Irish Time at the Stade de France Arena.
