Ronan Keating has hinted that Boyzone may reunite soon following the massive reaction from the Sky documentary mini-series about the band released at the beginning of this year called Boyzone: No Matter What.

The 48-year-old singer was speaking on the Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 on Friday morning when he teased of the iconic boyband's return.

Keating said it was the success of the documentary that spurred on the band members to consider reuniting, saying: "The reaction was unbelievable, so we’ve obviously been talking about our story for the last 30 years, and we felt like that was kind of it, that maybe that was the end of the story.

"And well, we’ve all been chatting over the last few weeks, and I think 2026 might be a year for Boyzone to maybe try and do something."

Boyzone's official Instagram page then shared a series of cryptic posts on Friday morning with photos of the band members, saying "the journey continues..." Fans have been delightfully commenting on the posts in the hopes it is confirming their comeback.

Boyzone was formed in 1993 with its five members Keating, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Stephen Gately. They broke up following years of success in the charts in 2000 as the members wanted to pursue solo careers. Stephen Gately then sadly passed away in October, 2009 at the age of 33.
