About writing the song Gearoid sayOns: "One of the lads texted me one Friday evening to see if I'd go for a few pints. I had several gigs that weekend and unfortunately I couldn't go. So as I was driving to one of them I started to think about the fact he was trying to persuade me to Just Go Out for One and no doubt then what the weekend would look like or could potentially turn into and the song just came from there! It's a scenario we have nearly all been in and those nights that are unplanned can lead us to some great memories!”
One of his trilogy of album releases, The Songs I Grew Up With is a No 1 Album in the Singer/Songwriter Irish Charts as his captivating delivery and performances have fueled a surge in demand for his solo work.
Gearoid said: “I’m incredibly grateful for the incredible response to my music videos. The outpouring of support has been truly inspiring, and it’s further driven my passion to share my own stories and music with the world.”
