'He is cold hearted' - Jedward hit back as Louis Walsh claims dynamic duo were 'vile'

Louis Walsh has come under fire after avoiding eviction on last night's episode of Celebrity Big Brother.

Since entering the Celebrity Big Brother house, the Mayo TV personality and music manager has taken a pop at a number of his previous clients including Ronan Keating and Jedward.

John and Edward Grimes came on the scene during their X Factor audition in 2009 where the Dublin brothers sang As Long as You Love Me by Backstreet Boys.

The pair worked with Walsh from 2009 until 2013 and went on to release a number of albums including Planet Jedward. They also had a number of sell-out UK and Irish tours.

On Tuesday night, Louis Walsh was asked by his fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate Colson Smith, best known for his role as Craig Tinker on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, what it was like working with Jedward.

Walsh didn't hesitate with his answer: "Vile. They were vile. I got five million for working with them."

Colson laughed it off saying: "I need a Jedward."

Fans expressed their outrage on X (formerly Twitter) and Jedward have hit back at the former X factor judge.

In a number of posts, Jedward took to X to say: "Louis reopened these wounds all by himself, being spiteful and disrespectful we aren’t going to have our character taken. Justice will be served. Louis Walsh is a cold hearted b**t**d."

Fans took to X to defend Jedward with one user saying: "We all hated him before this. Shame you boys got mixed up in it."

Another user said: "The cheek he has to call you vile."

Long-time friend of the brothers Gemma Collins took to Instagram with a picture of the three of them to say: "Shocked to see what was said about my boys. They are the sweetest talented polite educated kind boys I’ve ever met hence why they are always in my company !!! TEAM JEDWARD."
