Daniel O'Donnell asks fans for prayers as manager is diagnosed with brain cancer

Irish country music legend Daniel O'Donnell has asked his fans to pray for his seriously ill manager, Kieran Cavanagh.

Daniel took to social media to ask his thousands of followers to pray for Kieran after a very difficult diagnosis.

Daniel said: "Hi everyone, I’d like to ask for prayers for my manager Kieran Cavanagh. He has been diagnosed with brain cancer and will start treatment soon.

"Please pray for him and his family at this very difficult time."

The post has amassed almost 4,000 comments with fans rushing to send their best wishes to Kieran.

One fan who knows Kieran, said: "Ah God, I'm sorry to hear this, Kieran is an absolute Gentleman, you will be in my thoughts and prayers."

A second wrote: "Sending caring, positive and healing thoughts to your friend and family. Hoping all will be well after treatment."

Another responded: "Daniel, I'll be thinking of your lovely friend and hope that he pulls through his sickness."
