Screening to bring some Hocus Pocus for Crumlin to the UCH

Charity screening: Kathy Najimy, Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker in Hocus Pocus

THE University Concert Hall is to host a spooky fancy dress screening of Hocus Pocus, with all proceeds going to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin.

The screening of the classic family film, supported by Specsavers Limerick, will take place at 3pm on Sunday, October 30.

”Children young and old are welcome to come as they favourite ghoul, goblin, witch or wizard, to contribute and enjoy a fun filled family afternoon,” said a spokesperson.

Starring Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker, Hocus Pocus, is the story of a trio of witches who return to gain revenge three hundred years after they were sentenced to die in Salem. The screening will be the perfect way to spend Halloween Eve.

Hocus Pocus is one of ten films screening at the UCH’s Cinema Season this Autumn, with big screen epics, cult classics and family favourites.
