My Week! Festive fashion fun on Ladies’ Day at Christmas Racing Festival - Celia Holman-Lee
I HOPE you all had a peaceful Christmas and New Year and are looking forward to what 2023 brings!
One of the highlights of the holidays for me was hosting a wonderful Christmas fashion show at the Limerick Racecourse Racing Festival, all sponsored by Mr Binman.
The crowds that gathered to watch the sustainable-themed fashion event were extraordinary - so warm and friendly and we were delighted to be given the opportunity to showcase some of the top fashion houses and milliners on the day. These included: Isobel boutique, Marc Cain and Aisling Maher Boutique from Adare.
Then, from Limerick city, we had Original Ireland, Glitzi Bitz, Sinead’s Boutique and Antoinette O’Connell. A recently launched online shop Marlene & Co also displayed some gorgeous looks on the day. The online womenswear retailer operates out of Limerick. A top international milliner Saraden Designs also participated.
The best dressed lady and gent competition was a showstopper! The lovely Melissa Carty, from Galway and Fintan O’Sullivan, from Patrickswell in County Limerick, took the titles. Congratulations to them both! I was delighted to have chosen them as our winners on the day. They won prizes of €500 cash, which were kindly sponsored by Pharmacy Store Ireland.
As well as this, there were four runner-up prizes which were sponsored by The Wine Buff and an annual membership for Limerick Racecourse was awarded to other stylish males and females. Well done to all who were finalists on the day!
