In Pictures: Out & About for Ladies Day at Limerick Racecourse

THERE were two locally trained winners on a memorable third day of the Mr Binman Limerick Christmas Racing Festival on Wednesday at Greenmount Park.

The first Limerick success came in the day's opening race when Maidenstreetprince claimed the Kevin Lynch Memorial Maiden Hurdle.

Meanwhile, Athea trainer Eoin McCarthy and Newcastle West jockey Gary Noonan teamed up to record their second success of the week in Limerick when landing the D Pack Packaging Handicap Hurdle with Tomjackwilliam.

Off-the track, it was Ladies Day, with plenty of high-fashion on show.

The venue, which has attracted bumper crowds since St Stephen's Day, hosted Ireland's first sustainable style event this Wednesday. Limerick style icon Celia Holman Lee was enlisted to co-ordinate the unique event.
