WATCH: Scoil na Tríonóide Naofa's manager Brian O'Grady reacts to his side's Harty Cup loss to Thurles CBS

The Tipperary-based school got the better of Doon on a scoreline of 4-26 to 3-14 at UL on Wednesday

DOON'S SCOIL na Tríonóide Naofa's Harty Cup campaign has come to an end following their final group three outing in this year's Harty Cup. Brian O'Grady's side were beaten on a scoreline of 4-26 to 3-14 in UL's North Campus on Wednesday afternoon.

Even though neither team's group position would've altered no matter what the result on Wednesday, it did not stop the teams playing some fine hurling on a bitterly cold afternoon in Limerick. 

Thurles' 15-point win cemnted their place at the summit of group three, the reigning boasting a perfect three wins from three. As for Doon, it was the Limerick side's third defeat of the campaign, leaving them on zero points.

After the match, Leader Sports' Oisín Nolan caught up with Doon's Scoil na Tríonóide Naofa's manager Brian O'Grady.
