WATCH: Effin manager Adrian Barrett pleased with side's resilience after securing Limerick Premier IHC semi-final place

Effin made it four wins on the bounce in the Limerick premier intermediate hurling championship after defeating Bruff on Saturday

EFFIN secured their place in the semi-finals of this year's Lyons of Limerick premier intermediate hurling championship after defeating Bruff 3-16 to 0-14 in Kilmallock on Saturday.

The Round 6 victory was Effin's fourth win on the bounce in the round robin phase of the championship. Effin had collected just one point from their opening two fixtures after losing out to Croagh-Kilfinny in their opening game before drawing with Glenroe in round two.

Effin will complete their programme of round robin games against Granagh-Ballingarry this weekend before their focus switches to a county semi-final.

Leader Sport caught up with Effin manager Adrian Barrett after their victory over Bruff.
