"The immediate feeling was disappointing unfortunately, it's a position we obviously would have prefered not to have been put in and for this not to have happened. As players, we were definitely disappointed with the way that it transpired and the way that things fell. The most important thing now is that those involved and those in background can try and solve this and get the result for the players if possible and to prevent stuff like this happening going forward," said Limerick senior footballer Tadgh O'Siochru.
Monaleen made it two wins from two defeating Na Piarsaigh 1-16 to 2-7 in round two of the Limerick senior football championship on Thursday evening. Tadgh O'Siochru impressed scoring 0-2 in the Castletroy's side victory.
