WATCH: Kildimo-Pallaskenry senior football manager John Chawke: 'We are just happy that our status is safe'

Kildimo Pallaskenry defeated Oola 2-11 to 2-6 in Claughaun in round five of the Limerick SFC

IT has been a difficult championship campaign for Kildimo Pallaskenry. John Chawke's charges were without Cathal Downes and Tony McCarthy who missed the Limerick SFC through injury.

"They are a big loss. It was basically an opportunity for us to blood the younger guys that came along and they got great Championship experience this year. I think we've used 23 players this year which is fantastic. It's a good thing to have for the future" said Chawke.

Kildimo Pallaskenry defeated Oola 2-11 to 2-6 in round five of the Limerick SFC on Saturday evening. The City based club finished in fourth place in group two of the Limerick SFC.

After the game, Leader sport spoke with Kildimo Pallaskenry manager John Chawke.
