Monaleen have contested six Limerick SFC finals across the last 20 years.
But since their 2002 success, the Castletroy side are currently experiencing their longest wait for a final appearance - their last in 2016.
They have appeared in the knockout stages in each of the last five years and now manager Muiris Gavin has urged his side to push towards a county final appearance - starting this Saturday (4pm) when they play St Kierans in the quarter final in Bruff.
After the weekend win over Claughaun, Gavin spoke with media.
