ST KIERAN'S gave their hopes of a good run in the 2023 Limerick SFC a shot in the arm with a 2-7 to 1-8 win over Monaleen in the County Senior League Football Final in Askeaton.
The west Limerick side were a three-points down at half time but two goals in as many minutes from John Hayes and Alan King midway through the second half saw them to victory.
Following the game, midfielder Darragh Treacy, who scored two points in the win, spoke to Leader Sport about the victory and the teams' hopes for the 2023 season.
