STORM Amy had thankfully blown itself out by the time the starting gun was fired for the Cook Medical Mini Marathon this Sunday.
It brought thousands to University of Limerick for one of the Mid-West’s most anticipated community events.
The theme was inclusivity, with the reminder that whether you run, jog, or walk, there is a place on the starting line for everyone. All participants received a 2025 race top and a 2025 commemorative medal.
The Cook Medical Mini Marathon raises vital funds for local and national charities. Participants could link their race sign up to a personally chosen charity through a dedicated online platform, Give2you, with all proceeds going directly to their chosen charity.
Last year, a total of 3,500 men, women and children raised over €50,000 for good causes.
Today’s event marked the 10th year that Cook Medical has kindly sponsored the mini marathon.
