LIMERICK minor football captain Aidan O'Shea paid tribute to his fellow teammates after they won phase one of the Munster MFC against Tipperary in Mallow.
O'Shea lifted the Daryl Darcy Cup following the 1-9 to 1-6 victory that also sets up a Munster semi-final fixture against Kerry this coming Thursday.
It was the Limerick captain's first outing of the campaign due to injury struggles but he put in a superb performance that helped yield the county's first silverware at this grade since 1956.
The semi-final versus Kerry takes place at 6.45pm in Newcastle West on Thursday, May 18.
