Treaty United confirm senior Men's and Women's managers for 2027
Tommy Barrett and Laurie Ryan to lead senior teams into 2027 as club becomes Limerick FC
Treaty United have confirmed that Tommy Barrett and Laurie Ryan will continue as senior men’s and senior women’s team managers respectively for the 2027 season, when the club will adopt the Limerick FC name.
Barrett has led Treaty United’s senior men since its inaugural season in 2021, having previously served as Limerick FC manager. His longstanding connection to football in the city brings valuable experience and continuity as the club prepares for this next chapter.
Ryan took charge of the senior women ahead of the 2026 season, bringing a strong record of leadership, having captained Athlone Town to FAI Women’s Cup and league success, alongside her achievements coaching women’s soccer at TUS.
Ian McMahon, Managing Director, Treaty United said: “We are delighted that Tommy and Laurie will continue to lead our senior teams into 2027. Both bring commitment, experience and a strong connection to football in Limerick and the Mid-West.
“Tommy has played a central role in the Treaty United story from the outset, while Laurie brings proven leadership and a winning pedigree to our women’s programme. As we prepare to become Limerick FC, we are pleased to have both managers with us as we work to strengthen our teams, develop players and give our supporters a club they can be proud of.”
