The Club would like to wish Brian Webster all the best in his new role as head greenkeeper in Callan Golf Club. Brian started last week in his new job after 20 years in Dundrum.

Ladies

Last Tuesday Mornings Golf was a scramble and was won by Kathleen Smyth, Jennifer O’Callaghan and Marie Holohan. Our Ladies meet every Thursday evening at 7am in the golf range for some practice and social golf.

YUPS Captain’s Prize

Captain Packie Horan had a very successful Captain’s Prize last Saturday. The Yups Golf Society was formed many years ago in the memory of the late Pat Carroll Rip. The Yups golf society predominantly comprises members of County Tipperary Golf Club at Dundrum. October Outing

The Limerick Teachers Golf Society had their October outing at Adare Manor Golf Club. It was a very successful outing and we look forward to November’s day out in Newcastle West Golf Club on Saturday, November 7. Participants will be playing for Theresa Hereward’s Presidents Prize.

Ladies

Results - 1st place: Theresa Hereward Ryan Adare Manor GC with 37 pts; 2nd place: Sinead Duggan Tipperary GC with 34 pts; 3rd place: Carol Madigan Newcastle West GC with 32 pts.
