WATCH: English admits that Limerick's final win 'doesn't feel real'
The Doon man made his first start in an All-Ireland final against Galway and scored two points
ADAM English admitted that he was ‘shook’ following the celebrations of Limerick’s All-Ireland win against Galway at Croke Park.
“We’re shook this morning,” he told the Limerick Leader with a smile as the All-Ireland celebrations took a step back this morning.
“It’s cool, it’s a nice feeling. It doesn’t feel real yet, I don’t think it will yet but it’s nice. At the start of the year we set out our goals.
“We wanted to win the Munster League, we wanted to win the Allianz League, we wanted to win the Munster final, we wanted to win the All-Ireland final - we got to do that.
“It’s exactly what we wanted to do. We demanded it out of ourselves to perform for the full 70 minutes.”
