El Divas - Jessica Bray, Amanda Minihan, Janet Woods, Helen Catherine Ball
FOUR friends will combine for a musical journey at LIT’s Millennium Theatre as El Divas take to the stage.
The friends are Limerick ladies Jessica Bray and Amanda Minihan, with Ennis ladies Helen Catherine Ball and Janet Woods, who describes herself as Ennis born but Limerick adopted, will perform on November 19 after “years of trying”.
They have “finally aligned their schedules for a journey through song of their hopes, woes, dreams, trials and tribulations and how their friendships have carried them through”, they say.
All are trained – both locally and in London – and well known, with Jessica seen recently in Man of La Mancha for Muse Productions, Amanda working in On the Wire during City of Culture, Helen, who performed on the West End and runs her own stage school, and Villiers’ teacher Janet, who is also PRO with Felie Luimni, completing a great line-up.
Tickets from the Millennium Theatre on 061-293190.
