FOR OVER four decades, The Human League have influenced generations of fans and musicians alike, redefining pop music with their groundbreaking electronic sound and iconic style.
Now, The Human League is returning to Ireland in 2026 for a special live performance at King John’s Castle, Limerick on Saturday, May 2.
Since forming in 1978, the band have sold more than 25 million records worldwide, released nine studio albums including the multi-platinum DARE, and scored multiple worldwide #1 singles and albums.

From their early synth-pop innovations to their enduring anthems that continue to fill dancefloors and inspire new generations, The Human League remains a landmark in British music.
As they look to their fifth decade, the band remain fiercely independent and true to their roots, continuing to deliver unforgettable live shows that span their extraordinary catalogue of hits.
Speaking at the launch, Mick Dolan said: “We’re thrilled to welcome The Human League to King John’s Castle. Their influence on pop and electronic music is undeniable, and this promises to be an unforgettable night in one of Ireland’s most iconic venues.
“The Human League’s music has stood the test of time, and this concert will be a celebration of their incredible legacy,” added Mick.
Tickets for The Human league at King John’s Castle go on sale Friday October 24, at 10am from www.dolans.ie/www.ticketmaster.ie, and will be supported on stage by Cry Before Dawn.
