There's more rain on the way this weekend according to Met Éireann's latest weather forecast, although hope is not lost for Ireland's summer.
It looks like we're stuck with wet and warm weather for the next few days as per the latest forecast, with temperatures set to stay in the high teens and low 20s.
However, Cathal Nolan of Ireland's Weather Channel has predicted that we may see a U-turn in this dreary weather spell in the near future.
In a post on social media, the weather expert said: "There are some tentative signs now emerging that we may see high pressure build back closer to Ireland to start the month of August, with something a little more summer like possible at that stage."
Here is Met Éireann's forecast for the coming days.
